"My projects and galleries are a window into my world - creative, varied and engaging, capturing my professional development as well as some very special experiences on my creative journey. I have always been creative and curious, looking for the next big adventure. I carefully select the projects I take on and work alongside some of the most talented people in the arts, science, tech industries and in life.

I am sharing these thoughts to offer a glimpse into my world—creative, diverse, and ever-evolving. Driven by curiosity and a love for adventure, my journey has been enriched by collaborations with talented individuals across the arts, science, and tech industries. Through my work, I’ve shared the places I’ve explored, the discoveries I’ve made, and the passions that fuel me. I’m grateful for the transformative projects and incredible people that have shaped my path. Creativity expands our capacity for innovation and dialogue, fostering connection and community growth. I believe the arts have the power to revitalize spaces, engage stakeholders, and build vibrant, sustainable communities for future generations.

Art has profoundly influenced my perspective, shaping how I see the world. These days, I find joy in writing, music, painting, cooking, traveling, and exploring inspiring art experiences like Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, NM. Such bold and immersive projects encourage me to dream big and create fearlessly.

There is only one me, and I strive to live boldly and purposefully, fueled by an inexhaustible zest for life. I encourage you to embrace who you are—unapologetically. Don’t let fear or doubt hold you back. Seize every moment, let your light shine, and give your all to everything you do. As I continue on this path, I’m excited about what lies ahead, living vibrantly and fulfilling my purpose. You are a gift to the world. Celebrate yourself, embrace your journey, and make it extraordinary!

FORMER

NASA

OSIRIS-REx Ambassador

MARCIA K. CULP

Marcia's connection to NASA began in March of 2016, when Marcia responded to a nationwide Call for Artists, to create asteroid-inspired works of art that were to be submitted to NASA for the OSIRIS-REx Mission, the first U.S. mission to return samples from an asteroid to Earth, addressing multiple NASA Solar System Exploration objectives through the "We The Explorers" program. As a contributing artist, she submitted two works of art in a digital format. Both were accepted and then placed on a microchip along with art from other artists in the U.S. and later installed in the Digital Art Gallery aboard NASA’s spacecraft, “OSIRIS-REx,” commemorating the First U.S. Sample Return Mission to the asteroid, 'Bennu' on its seven - year journey which concludes in 2023. Her artwork, aboard the solar-powered OSIRIS-REx spacecraft, will remain in orbit around the Sun for millennia.

In September 2016, Marcia and husband Lance went to Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL to watch the launch, have lunch with an astronaut, meet the first boy in history who named the asteroid, "Bennu" and tour the center. Marcia was approved to join the volunteer OSIRIS-REx Ambassador program in 2020 and was later selected to serve as a Solar System Ambassador for 2021.

She appropriately named her two commemorative pieces of art:
